The Great Wall Of China
This wall was constructed over 2300 years ago in northern China to protect from enemies. It is the longest structure ever built and stands at a whopping 13,170 miles long. The Wall brings in a tonne of tourists every year.

Petra – Jordan
Petra is a fascinating location filled with many historical archeological sites. It was built in 312BC by a tribe with obvious skill in carving and stone masonry. It is found in Jordan, between the Dead Sea and the Red Sea.

Colosseum
Located in Rome, Italy, this is an oval shaped Roman Amphitheatre. It is the largest of its kind in the world and took 9 years to construct of stone and concrete. It was completed in 81AD. It was mainly used for gladiator games and many thousands of people were killed in the area.

Chichen Itza
This is an ancient site located in Yucatán State, Mexico. This site was a big part of the Mayan civilization. The site consists of pyramid, temples and many walkways.

Machu Picchu
This is an ancient abandoned city which was built of stone by the Incas. It is located in the Andes Mountains in Peru. It was constructed around the 15th Century and sits very high at an altitude of over 8000 feet above sea level. It is still not clear on exactly what this site was used for.

Taj Mahal
Located in India on the river Yamuna, the Taj Mahal construction was completed in 1653. The building is in commemoration of Mumtaz Mahal, the Emporers wife who is now buried there. It is also surrounded by beautiful gardens. This is a major tourist attraction.

Christ The Redeemer
This statue of Jesus Christ is located at the top of Mount Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It took nine years to construct and was created by French sculptor Paul Landowski. It is a symbol of Christianity on our planet.
