The Northern Lights – Aurora Borealis
This is an astronomical phenomenon caused by collisions of fast moving electrons in the magnetic fields. For best viewing is from high northern latitudes in winter. There have been reports of observation of these amazing lights all the way back from prehistoric times.

The Grand Canyon
This amazing canyon is located in Arizona, USA. It was formed billions of years ago by the Colorado River which runs through. It is 227 miles long and 18 miles wide at its widest point. It is definitely a top tourist location with its stunning views.

Paricutin
This is a cone volcano located in Michoacán, Mexico. It is part of the Ring of Fire, in the Pacific Ocean. It stands at 424m high and is able to be climbed if you are up for the adventure. It is believed to be monogenetic, meaning it won’t erupt again.

Rio De Janeiro Harbor
Discovered in 1502, this stunning harbor is surrounded by mountains and many islands. It is one of the largest bays on earth and known for its beauty.

Great Barrier Reef
Located in the Coral Sea of the coastline of Queensland, Australia. This is the largest coral reef and also the largest living organism in the world. Its around 2600km long and contains over 900 islands. This spectacular place is not only stunning, its also home to many many sea creatures.

Mount Everest
The highest mountain in the world! It is part of the Himalayas range and it sits on the border of Nepal and China. It stands at just over 29,000 feet high.

Victoria Falls
Located in Zimbabwe on the Zambezi River, these falls are large and powerful. It is considered to be one of the worlds largest with a width of just over 1700m
